The Icon Factory are very proud to introduce and present a very unique exhibition featuring the amazing and intricate 'Knitted' portraits of Jasmine Watson.
Influenced by the pixelated design inherent in knitwear, bold colours and Korean culture this exhibition will be a breath of fresh air.
Exhibition will run until Thursday 7th of July.
JASMINE WATSON
Jasmine is a self-taught artist and yarn-crafter who turned her hands to knitting during the 2020 lockdown with the ambition to capture one of her favourite songs in a sweater. From there, she developed a passion for creating yarn portraits.
Jasmine is a self-taught artist and yarn-crafter who turned her hands to knitting during the 2020 lockdown with the ambition to capture one of her favourite songs in a sweater. From there, she developed a passion for creating yarn portraits.
Jasmine is primarily drawn to expressive faces, bold movements, or striking colour combinations. Although knitting is her preferred method, she has also worked with crochet and embroidery techniques.
